"With the reprint of the paper jacket of Ishida Ayumi's first album (1965) released during her Victor era, there are finally signs of a complete collection of the sound source. Selected from seven singles, the composition of all songs except the cover songs is by Izumi Taku. It is amazing as expected. Although it is not as socially relevant as Yukimura Izumi's "Yakusoku," it is a song that plucks at the listener's heartstrings (she reportedly cried while singing it on TV). Eight bonus tracks have been added, and "Dare Datte Hitori Janai," known as the "Hello CQ Theme Song," is especially valuable. '

As a side note...
The other day, CS broadcasting aired a special feature on the late Tamura Masakazu, showing several movies from the mid-60s, one of which was a school movie, and I was surprised to see Ishida Ayumi appear as the heroine (protagonist?) just like on the CD jacket. The other was a youth drama about boys and girls set in a singing cafe. This one had no lines, but it featured a live performance (for one song) of a singing lady from the singing cafe singing alongside Baisho Chieko. The singing scenes before "Blue Light Yokohama" are very rare due to the film situation in Japan at that time. The former is "We Are the Inferior Students" and the latter is "Zettai Taishu" from 1965. Ayumi is also wonderful in "Station Station" and the "From the North Country" series, but she has a very different image when she was young. By the way, what is Victor Entertainment doing with the complete CD release of the A/B sides of 23 singles? Nippon Columbia released a CD-BOX 20 years ago, so Victor needs to consider the age of their fans...
